Free Imaginaria Poster!
Here’s a free print-at-home 8.5”x11” poster to use to introduce Imaginaria. The bioterrorist group known for dealing small to medium space horrors. Imaginaria is featured in the first Storyline of Familiar Faces when they are hired to infect Julip IV’s southern hemisphere with Risomania Horrors.
The poster is designed with the Joker in mind, as he often shows up at fundraisers or award ceremonies to cause chaos. Imaginaria is unconventional and often acts on their own accord despite what their hirers want. I hope you have fun with Imaginaria at your table <3
2) Constant Downpour Remastered Soundtrack Announcement+ Info
For the remaster, I really wanted to twist what CD was and explore the rich world of Venus. There was a lot of front of book ideas Stephan and I cut for the sake of keeping scope.
Turning the adventure into a hex crawl portion of Venus allows for the planet to come even more alive and spill out its sinister mechanisms. It also allows us to inject far more lore and deadliness into the Venusians.
Writing is at 70% and editing will start early next week.
The Original Soundtrack is coming along too! I can’t wait to reveal this. It’s an atmospheric, synth mix that pulls inspiration from the Metroid Prime games. The tone is incredible and I’m stoked to be working with a good friend to bring it to into being.
3) Outsourced Writing Team Announcement
Outsourced is the spiritual successor to Constant Downpour and explains the corporation that sends players to Venus in a standalone zine. (Due to Kickstart February 2023).
As I was writing the corporation and the 3 deadly planets they send death missions to, I knew I wanted someone who could write an amazing escape adventure for crews to fight there way out of their situation.
Christian Sorrell of MeatCastle Gameware is writing a bunker escape adventure full of security measures to thwart, unexpected enemies, and high-risk breakout fun.
I’m ecstatic to work with Christian again. He wrote two incredible and unique hexes for Orbital Debris and is one of three editors on the project. On top of that he’s released a ton of modules over the last 12 months - including Bloodfields at Blackstar Station.

3) Playtester Inquiry
Up until now, most of our playtesting has been in-house and I wanted to ask if there is anyone who is interested in playtesting SpicyTuna modules at their tables on a semi-regular basis since we’re looking at 6-8 releases a year.
Depending on the number of people that are interested I’d rotate through and have a few tables playtest each module or adventure. This will specifically be helpful for Incorporated as the 5 separate corporations will have their own storylines to play through.
If you are interested in playtesting modules before they are released, including the Heroic Space Opera RPG that will go into development in early 2023, I’d be ecstatic to catch a chat!
Please email marco@spicytunarpg.com with the subject line “Playtesting SpicyTuna” and you can include anything you’re interested in.
I would love to schedule a quick chat over discord or google chat or we can keep it to email if its preferred.
4) Firefighter and Firefighting Inspiration
This is a great read! https://www.bmefire.com/history-of-fire-engines/

A lot of gold here too :) https://www.deviantart.com/futurewgworker/art/1951-Dennis-F12-Pump-Escape-705801128
I really like the idea of some spaceships, single-pilot spacecraft, or crazy land transports looking like these. What does firefighting look like in the future and what kind of rescue specialists are there?
5) From the Bookshelf: Pax Romana by Jonathan Hickman
Vatican funded time travel. What could go wrong?
I highly recommend the read, and I love the use of negative space in this book. Plus the timelines are awesome!
That rounds out The Guac 004. Thank you for being here!
