Constant Downpour
Constant Downpour Remastered is gearing up to launch on November 15th.
The retro sci-fi psychological thriller inspired by Ray Bradbury’s “The Long Rain” will be our first hardcover release and will come in at around ~84 pages. Despite loving the original, we took the chance to rewrite most of the adventure and open up the world of Venus.
We’re excited to share all of the new Venusian monuments to discover, horrors that speak through nightmarish revelation, and bunkers packed with retro-sci-fi goods + recordings.
Inside the Book
A hex-crawl covering a chunk of Venus 3 packed with psychological and terrifyingly real encounters.
20+ hallucinogenic and nightmare encounters, 20+ monster, and violent encounters, + additional Venusian and rival party encounters.
20+ Illustrations
9 Retro sci-fi weapons
4 Factions including a rival party
20 Detailed locations including 10+ maps of bunkers, landmarks, and sun domes.
Simple hex-crawl rules specialized for a psychological thriller adventure.

I’m pretty sure I’m leaning toward the mostly grayscale option as it fits the adventure more, but I love the Zelda-esque greens! Super happy to hear feedback.

Freebie: Bunker Layout [Figma File]. Completely editable. Numbered text components will keep spacing as you add or subtract text from any number in its column (1-4, 7-8) or row (5-6). The backside has options for text-only sections to add more information on the adventure you build whether it’s for a home game or set to publish.
You can change colors or whatever in this template.
I’m planning on doing a bit more of these styles of templates, simple maps and components to use, and component-based style guides for layouts.
The more I’m in this space I realize that one of the biggest pain points for people to print is either not being an artist or not having layout experience. I hope this style of template proves helpful and is used a ton as people dip their toes into self-publishing TTRPG modules.

I got to playtest this and the tone came through wonderfully! Really excited to read it as a warden. Plus they have some awesome stretch goals in the works!

Maher released Terror of the Cosmos, 5 Pamphlet Bundle.
He’s been working on this for a long time and has really fine-tuned everything to make sure it’s print ready by the time he Kickstarted it. Another one I backed. The art and packaging are amazing! I really like how it all turned out and the color palette they fell on.
